Charcoal Drawing and Watercolor Painting as a Path to the Spirit

Picture
Darkness was first, light gave the impulse for the darkness to move,
and space came into being.
So it is told in many creation stories. When light and darkness meet colors are created.
Each morning at the end of the night when the sun rises we can witness this activity in the atmosphere around us. This activity also happens in us every time when we wake up from sleep; the light of day pushes away the darkness of sleep, and the colors appear where our feelings are born, live and where we feel moved.

Drawing and painting the unusual and unique images of the activity of light, darkness and color, can help our awareness of natural phenomena and strengthen our thinking. When we paint, and move inwardly with the colors our soul and life processes are nourished, and it can lead to a deeper understanding of the activity of spirit (thinking), soul (feeling), and matter( physical activity) in us. Both experienced artists and pure beginners enjoy,

and are amazed by the process of creating these unique images.

Marielle gives workshops and works with children and adults through the therapeutic experience of Light, Darkness and Color out of the work of Liane Collot d'Herbois.
